One Laptop Per Child is a project founded by Nicholas Negroponte. It is directed to aiding children in developing countries. It gives them the opportunity to use the technology as a "learning tool". The innovative creation of the designed laptop would prove to be greatly useful to these children. Not only is the laptop completely portable, but it is also capable of running in any location for extremely long hours. Interested in making this happen? You can help by donating to this "give one, get one" program. Receive a laptop while giving one to a child.
